All my workshops take place at my home, (NR12 7BA) on Saturdays between 10a.m. and 4pm. There is an eight week gap between workshops to give students an opportunity to practice what they have learnt and to develop through doing so. Future workshop dates are chosen with the students at the end of each one to make sure that whenever possible no one misses the next through a clash with a holiday etc.
A vegetarian buffet lunch is included in the price of the workshop, as are teas and coffee. Students are of course free to bring their own packed lunches if they prefer.
There is sufficient parking space for cars at my home and also a regular bus service from Norwich and from North Norfolk which stops outside the house. Please email me for details.
All courses are strictly limited in number of students so that workshops retain an informal and friendly atmosphere, with a high level of individual tuition. Students are encouraged to ask questions and beginners are welcome. There is a strong emphasis on having fun and laughter as a great way to promote learning!
A booking fee is payable a minimum of one week before the workshop and will be deducted from the cost on the day of attendance. See ‘Make a Booking’ page for payment options. I am a qualified teacher and hold the Diploma in the Lifelong Learning Sector and also The Institute for Learning’s QTLS.

I have been teaching tarot workshops as a means of developing intuitive abilities since 2005, and some of the original students are still coming to the Advanced Class, they enjoy tarot so much they don’t want to give it up! This is fun, fascinating to learn and can deepen your own ‘psychic’ capacities by integrating the intuitive and strictly grounded thought processes, so that your subconscious uses the concrete imagery of the cards to provide conscious ideas.
In the first workshop the meaning of the 78 cards is covered, as well as some historical background and we discuss how it is that the cards may work. We also do a simple spread that you can practice for yourself and your friends at home before workshop 2.
The second workshop is designed to explore the kind of people the royalty cards represent in card spreads, for example: is that your younger brother or your rich uncle who keeps turning up in your cards? We will work with a relationship spread amongst others and practice reading our own cards for months ahead.
The third workshop covers the occult (hidden) aspects in tarot, such as astrology and numerology, both of which are represented in the cards. We look at what it means when you get more than one or two of a type of card turning up, e.g. two knights. We practice reading other peoples cards as a group.
In later workshops, as an intermediate group, we will work on many different spreads building up to designing spreads of our own to answer specific questions. The Advanced Class looks at deeper esoteric links to tarot cards and how they can develop clairvoyance.
It is suggested that you attend the first three workshops in tarot reading if you want to achieve the most from the course, as each provides important foundation material on which to build the future knowledge of later workshops. If you miss one for any reason after those 3 you will still be able to continue the course without difficulty.
Any Rider Waite designed (ask if you want to know more about which ones these are), deck is suitable for the course, as that is the teaching aid used, but if you have a different deck of your own that you are used to and would prefer to use that‘s fine. Boards to lay out the cards on are provided during the workshops and, if you don’t already have a deck of your own, various Rider Waite style tarot decks are for sale at very competitive prices. Some hand-outs from initial workshops are provided to take home.
You will need to bring paper and a pen for each workshop to note how to lay out new spreads, the meaning of card combinations etc. but most of the work is with the cards themselves.
